At ADE Idiomes we are transparent. Here we explain in a clear and simple way how and why we process your personal data, in strict compliance with the European GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD.

2. Purpose of Processing

At ADE Idiomes, we process the information provided by interested parties for the following purposes:

    Academic and administrative management: Process enrollment, manage payments, organize classes, and evaluate student progress.

    Operational communications: Contact by phone or email for urgent notices, schedule changes, or sending report cards.

    Image rights (only with express consent): Capture photographs or videos of students during ADE Idiomes classes and activities and publish them exclusively on the academy's website and official social media accounts, only when expressly authorized in the enrollment form. This authorization is optional and does not affect enrollment. Images may remain published until the person concerned or their legal guardian requests their removal or withdraws authorization. To withdraw authorization or request removal, email info@adeidiomes.com.

3. Legal Basis

The legal basis for processing your data is:

    Execution of a contract: For the provision of teaching services (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Without this data, we cannot enroll the student.

    Legal obligation: To comply with our tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • ✓
    Express consent: For the publication of images and videos. This consent is completely independent and optional. Under no circumstances does the withdrawal of this consent affect the execution of the teaching contract (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

4. Data Retention

Personal data provided will be kept as long as the commercial or academic relationship is maintained. Once it ends, the data will be blocked for the years necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g., 5 years for the Tax Agency regarding billing).

In the case of images and videos for social media, they will remain published indefinitely until the interested party (or their legal guardian) requests their deletion or revokes consent.

5. Data Recipients

Your data will not be sold, rented, or transferred to third parties under any circumstances, except under legal obligation or strict necessity for the service. Possible legitimate transfers include:

  • Public Administrations and Banks: To comply with tax obligations and manage direct debit payments.
  • Service providers: (Data processors) such as web hosting platforms, corporate email, or tax advisory services, always under strict confidentiality contracts and GDPR compliance.

6. Your Rights (ARCO)

Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether ADE Idiomes is processing their personal data. You can exercise the following rights at any time:

Access and RectificationRight to know what data we hold and to correct it.
Erasure and to be ForgottenRight to request the deletion of your data.
ObjectionRight to object to the use of your corporate image.
PortabilityRight to take your data in a standard format.

How to exercise them? By sending an email to info@adeidiomes.com indicating 'Data Protection' in the subject line and identifying your request.

7. ADE Portal

The ADE Portal is a tool for delivering the academy’s educational services. It is not a separate consumer service.

  • Data processed: account and authentication data, family or student relationship, attendance, communications, materials, assignments, reports, progress and necessary alerts.
  • Source: information provided during enrolment and academic-directory data ADE imports to deliver teaching.
  • Lawful basis: operations necessary to manage the educational relationship and applicable legal obligations. ADE does not request blanket consent as a condition of access.
  • Children: necessary Kid Space access is controlled by the parent, guardian or authorised representative. Public images and other optional purposes are requested separately and never condition enrolment.
  • Retention: while the educational relationship continues and afterwards for the periods needed for legal obligations, claims and security. Acknowledgement evidence is retained with its version and date.
  • Providers: technology providers involved in the portal act only for contracted purposes and must be covered by the required agreements and safeguards. Before activating the portal, ADE will verify their locations, subprocessors and transfer safeguards.
  • Rights: request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability by writing to info@adeidiomes.com. Withdrawal of optional authorisation does not affect necessary educational access.
  • Automated decisions: the portal does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on students or families.
